About ELASA
ELASA stands for European Landscape Architecture Student Association, which is an open intentionally informal network that connects students of landscape architecture and related fields across Europe. Every year, ELASA organizes an annual meeting, which takes place in a different European country each time. This yearly event offers students the opportunity to meet in person, take part in workshops, lectures, and hands-on activities, explore current themes in landscape design, and engage with the cultural and environmental characteristics of the host country.

About the theme
"Back to the roots"
Founded in 1990 in Évora (Portugal), ELASA has long encouraged collaboration, idea-exchange and networking among landscape architecture students across Europe.
This year's theme 'Back To The Roots' aims to revive ELASA's origin and spirit. By choosing some of the most well known and historically relevant cities in our country, we celebrate our heritage and cultural diversity, explore locally-rooted landscapes and the importance of preserving natural and urban landscape.
